Our supply and marketing philosophy is focused on customer needs and continuous improvement in terms of service, product specification and reliability. This is supported by our design and manufacturing activities which are similarly based.

The philosophy is reinforced by our integrated circuit qualification, on-going life test, performance monitoring and testing to ensure that high levels of quality are consistently met.

We work closely with carefully selected and approved supplier chain where regular audits and visits are keys to relationship development and maintenance.

Our quality systems also covers outsourced manufacturing services to ensure that it is conducted to the same high standards that we use.

Our quality policy and quality manual are an integral part of out business system. Quality programs can be tailored to meet specific customer needs.

In June 2008, Hendon Semiconductors has also been awarded the ISO 13485 Medical Device Quality Management Standard. ISO 13485 is an ISO standard, published in 2003, that represents the requirements for a comprehensive management system for the design and manufacture of medical devices.

While ISO 13485 is a standalone document, it is similar to ISO9001 but includes the following additional requirements:-

• the promotion and awareness of regulatory requirements as a management responsibility,
• controls in the work environment to ensure product safety,
• focus on risk management activities and design transfer activities during product development,
• specific requirements for inspection and traceability,
• specific requirements for documentation and validation of processes, and
• specific requirements for verification of the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.

The achievement of certification reinforces Hendon Semiconductor’s capability and commitment to the manufacture of quality devices for its customers.
