OM5448 low voltage LED driver and voltage boost circuit
The OM5448 is the ideal drive solution for LED's providing one of the most cost effective, high efficiency light control applications available. The OM5448 is a low voltage bipolar integrated circuit that can operate on a supply voltage of 3.5V to as low as 1V DC. The most important characteristic of the OM5448 to provide single or multiple LED drive from a single cell battery or other low voltage source with minimal external component. The OM5448 also offer a low cost solution to the problem of driving loads from a low voltage source. This is applicable where the load voltage needs to be higher than the available one or two cell battery supply source to the circuit. Regulated voltages up to 12V may be generated from low voltage sources.
