OM1654A Simple Zero Crossing Triac Control IC


The OM1654A integrated circuit has been designed as simple to use, low-cost, zero crossing triac control integrated circuit requiring a minimum number of external components in temperature control applications.

The OM1654A is powered directly from the mains via high ohmic resistors thus providing inherent immunity to mains-born transients.

The OM1654A integrated circuit is also a very cost effective electronic replacement of traditional bimetallic thermostats.

OM1654A bring features such as accurate temperature control, variable/ adjustable temperature setting and indicator to end products such as hair styling tools.
